Our Ambient Air Quality Mobile Station (AAQMS) is equipped with
a hi-tech. precise & accurate ambient air monitoring
analyzer (Horiba-Japan), dust analyzer, metrological
sensors, global positioning system (GPS), calibration equipment &
data-logger to measure the major urban air pollutants and
metrological parameters.
These analyzers
work with the latest approved techniques, acceptable and in compliance
with the United States Environment Protection Agency (USEPA), European Environment Agency (EEA) and the European Commission (EC).
All of the air monitoring analyzers, dust analyzer & the equipment for calibration in the station are attached serially (RS-232) with
a data-logger (I/O Expander). The metrology sensors are attached with
an analog input of data-logger (I/O Expander) to communicate
and transfer their data to it. Data Logger is attached with
a GSM modem to communicate with a remote server so that it can transmit the pollutant data to the server.
The server runs with the Data Communication Server software (DCS) which links into the station’s software and data-logger. In this way the data of all pollutants measured in the station is transmitted to the server which is then reported and analyzed by environmental experts. The remote server is also equipped with our reporting & presenting software (IDA-ZRW).
One of the most important feature of our ambient air monitoring mobile lab is the Global Positioning System (GPS), which provides us with exact and precise information from satellite situated on the site being measured. The current position of the mobile lab is also transmitted to the server along with the pollution and metrological data.
